Ever needed to make an organized brainstorm but never had paper or markers large enough?
It helped me to produce such awesome mind-maps as the following:
I am using these mind maps in conjunction with design to help me find a focus for my furniture project. I really want to find a way to work with new furniture that can evoke a feeling of familiarity or comfort, without using any of the 'typical' stylistic references to historic furniture. I don't want to imitate patterns and materials, or even shapes so much as I want to design something that reaches into the experiences we have with our body-memories, and initiates a relationship between the user and the furniture.
This is my owl-face candle holder. He makes our apartment beautiful.
